Today I am joined by the gorgeous Floss from https://www.flossophyandyoga.co.uk/ to discuss the integration of philosophy into modern yoga, what enlightenment is or isn’t and after just two months working with me 1:1 in my mentorship programme her results are impressive and this of course is available to you too! 

Yoga is always evolving in the hands of those who practice it, aka us! Yoga teaches us nothing is permanent, and this includes how we approach the practice. But we must honour its roots and traditions and find ways to integrate this with relevance into our modern world.

Feeling burnout from teaching lots of weekly classes and out of alignment with how she truly wants to share yoga with the world after 5 years of trying to figure it out alone Floss said yes to my mentorship programme. 

Coming in at option 2, Floss is working more closely with me 1:1 and the results after 2 months are staggering! From full workshops, a reduced number of weekly classes, to both new online and in-person offerings that truly honour her love of embodied movement and philosophy, plus a newfound confidence that she is a good teacher, and she is needed. Not to mention this energy of course has rippled into all areas of her life. 

Floss leads the way for us all, especially a younger generation who may be told that they are poor, you can’t afford X, Y or Z. Floss also leads the way in saying yes to mentorship and like she says, what is unique about what I have to offer is I can help you with both hats that you wear, yoga teacher and yoga business. 

Mentorship should be industry standard for all yoga teachers and investing time and money in the business the side of being a yoga teacher should be as accepted as yoga teacher training is.
