Starting Your Yoga Business – Part 2
You’ve just graduated from your foundation YTT (well done!) and you’re ready to get teaching, but you have zero followers on social media, no website, and no mailing list.
Where do you start? Especially when it feels like an overwhelming list of things to have in place before you go and share the light that is yoga and teach a class!
On the topic of the spinning wheel of doom that is overwhelm now may be a good time to go back and listen to episode 12 “How to avoid overwhelm” – https://amy-yoga.com/prosperous-yogini-podcast-episode-12/
My best piece of advice is to use what you already have, which will 100% be something!
Marketing is just talking to people, finding the right people to talk to, telling them how you can help them, how they can come and do yoga with you, and then invite to your offer (aka selling).
I’m sure you have friends, family members, connections, a personal FB page or other ways you can go out and start to talk to people about your yoga classes.
And then with an extra dose of courage, you can even go out and talk to people you don’t know, the local café, or a closed FB group for example about your yoga class.
Learning to market your yoga business is a practice, one just like your yoga practice, you have to get out there and just take action, one step at a time, honouring your journey.
Remember before we run, we walk.
